PRAYER TO OVERCOME IMPOSSIBILITY

Bible Reading: 2 Kings 7:1-2, 17-20

“Then Elisha said, Hear ye the word of the LORD; Thus saith the LORD, Tomorrow about this time shall a measure of fine flour be sold for a shekel, and two measures of barley for a shekel, in the gate of Samaria. Then a lord on whose hand the king leaned answered the man of God, and said, Behold, if the LORD would make windows in heaven, might this thing be? And he said, Behold, thou shalt see it with thine eyes, but shalt not eat thereof.” 2 Kings 7:1-2

“And the king appointed the lord on whose hand he leaned to have the charge of the gate: and the people trod upon him in the gate, and he died, as the man of God had said, who spake when the king came down to him.

And it came to pass as the man of God had spoken to the king, saying, Two measures of barley for a shekel, and a measure of fine flour for a shekel, shall be tomorrow about this time in the gate of Samaria:

And that lord answered the man of God, and said, Now, behold, if the LORD should make windows in heaven, might such a thing be? And he said, Behold, thou shalt see it with thine eyes, but shalt not eat thereof.

And so it fell out unto him: for the people trod upon him in the gate, and he died.” 2 King 7:17-20

Good day beloved, overcome your impossibility is our focus today, and I believe it is the prayer that everyone needs to overcome every barrier that has been hindered us to achieve our desire, goal, and purpose according to God’s master plan for our lives.

The man in our Bible reading is a man that acts and reacts impossible. The man that challenged the prophet of God is a popular person in the city. He is not a young man but an adult. He believes in impossibility and he cost him his life.

According to ALFRED Udobong, impossibility is a very big word in the ears of men of all ages and in all classes that only seek to reduce or stop our drive to pursue our dreams, visions, desires, and every word and promises of the Almighty God that we have heard despite our conviction of its truthfulness

Impossibility is a thought of mind and it is a destructive, thief, and killer of destiny, success, and greatness. Many are under the control of impossibility spirit, and it weakens strength to go further beyond the lines to where you can truly find real success. It frightens sincerity and destroys faith in trusting God to the very end.

Impossibility is one word that gives fueling fear to ride on in your hearts and take you on a backward slid despite the assurance in the word of God for an onward glory. It cages and tied you down so that you cannot move forward to achieve the goals ahead of you.

For instance, after Mary had faithfully and patiently listened to the angel of God deliver a message she never expected from God to her; before fear and uncertainty could overtake her thought and force her to tell the angel that such words were lies, how impossible it will be since with her senses, she could not imagine such can happen through her, the angel quickly added: “For with God nothing is ever impossible and no word from God shall be without power or impossible of fulfillment” Luke 1:37.

How many of Christians are still holding the words and promises of God within the power of their flawed imaginations? How you not among many that have declared their dreams, visions, and desires impossible because of their shallow knowledge, imagination, and understanding?

Beloved, there is no way you can truly figure out what, and how God will accomplish His words and promises in your lives. When Mary heard the assurance that God will show up though she saw and think impossibility, she immediately accepted: “Then Mary said, Behold, I am the handmaiden of the Lord; let it be done to me according to what you have said. And the angel left her” Luke 1:38. 

That’s how you should act and reacts to every situation. Never accept any words of impossibility. Reject any forms of impossibility, and walk-in faith with God, doing things in FATH and war in faith. This should be on every step you take.  James 2:14, 17-26, Hebrews 11:31, James 5:15, Hebrews 11:29.

“Even so faith, if it hath not works, is dead, being alone.” James 2:17

“But without faith, it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.” Hebrews 11:6

1. Father, I thank you for this great message.
2. Father I confess my sin unto you, forgive me in the name of Jesus.
3. By the grace of God, my sin of impossibility is cleansed away by the blood of Jesus.
4. Father, release upon me the power of possibility, in the name of Jesus.
5. Every thought of impossibility in my life, be cleansed by the blood of Jesus.
6. By fire by thunder, I destroy every chain of impossibility that hold my mind captivity, in the name of Jesus.
7. I delete every mark of impossibility attached to my life, in the name of Jesus.
8. Every sign of impossibility in my life, be destroyed by the blood of Jesus.
9. By fire by thunder, I cast out the spirit of impossibility in my life, in the name of Jesus.
10. By the grace of God, I walk in faith. in the name of Jesus.
11. By the grace of God, I work in faith, in the name of Jesus.
12. By the grace of God, I fight in faith and overcome every challenge of impossibility, in the name of Jesus.
13. Father, deliver me from the power of impossibility that holds my captivity, in the name of Jesus.
14. Father, set me free from the imagination of impossibility, in the name of Jesus.
15. I possess all the possession that I lost as a result of impossibility actions, in the name of Jesus.
16. I break every yoke of impossibility, in the name of Jesus.
17. Every yoke of impossibility in my life, be broken by thunder, in the name of Jesus.
18. Father, separate me from any association of impossibility, in the name of Jesus.
19. I reject every speech of impossibility, in the name of Jesus.
20. I reject every conversation of impossibility, in the name of Jesus.
21. Father, connected me with the forces of possibility, in the name of Jesus.
22. I break every barrier of impossibility set before me, in the name of Jesus.
23. I break every satanic roadmap of impossibility assigned with my life, in the name of Jesus.
