Bible Reading: Luke 23: 39-43

“39 And one of the malefactors which were hanged railed on him, saying, If thou be Christ, save thyself and us.

40 But the other answering rebuked him, saying, Dost, not thou fear God, seeing thou art in the same condemnation?

41 And we indeed justly; for we receive the due reward of our deeds: but this man hath done nothing amiss.

42 And he said unto Jesus, Lord, remember me when thou comest into thy kingdom.

43 And Jesus said unto him, Verily I say unto thee, Today shalt thou be with me in paradise.”

We are in a world where we facing divers of obstacles on daily basis. Life is a fomenting of challenges. The two thieves in our Bible reading are in the last minutes of their existence on earth, and at the same time, they are confronted with the last obstacles on their way to eternity. These obstacles they faced include; distraction, self-desires, self-righteousness, self-justification, uncontrol utterances, lack of focus, unreadiness to repent, etc.

To accomplish a goal and purpose require a strong determination and full commitment to face obstacles at any time. You can overcome the potential obstacles with the real solution. Winston Churchill said, “Success is going from failure to failure without a loss of enthusiasm.” Successful people fail more than unsuccessful people simply because they keep trying no matter what obstacles they come across.

No matter the vision or goals ahead of you, be sure of obstacles ahead of you, and be ever ready to overcome the obstacles must be your priority. Obstacles to achieving eternal life goals or vision or purpose can include fear of failure, fear of success, fear of men and women, distraction within and lack of self-confidence, and unrepented heart. An obstacle can be less threatening if there are potential solutions. So, think about some real solutions to help overcome barriers in the path to your success this year that will help you to reach your destination at due time.

The best solution is to overcome the potential obstacles with the real solution, and the real solution is to re-connect with your Creator, surrender your life unto Him in holiness and righteousness. With God all things are possible, and all things are possible with anyone that believes. [Luke 1:37, Mark 9:23].

Secondly, re-connect with your driving force or compelling vision for achieving the goal. Never tolerate or accept any distraction or impossibility argument. Achieving important goals in life [reigning in heaven] can truly be difficult yet so rewarding. Enthusiasm, self-discipline, commitment, and perseverance, heavenly focus, is what’s needed to get our desired results. Once a goal is realized, a dream turned into reality, we gain acknowledgment that through hard work, righteousness, faithfulness, holiness, and passion nothing is impossible. Jesus said: “All things are possible for those that believe” Mark 9:23

17. The spirit of worldliness that controls my marriage, I commanded you to die today, in the name of Jesus.
18. Every seed of worldliness injected into my life through a dream, be uprooted today in the name of Jesus.
19. The agent of the satanic kingdom assigned to monitoring my business, marriage, ministry, and well-being, die by thunder in the name of Jesus.
20. The chain of worldliness that the enemy uses to draw me back from holiness, break to piece, in the name of Jesus.
21. By the blood of Jesus, I terminated every work of backwardness to my former evil behavior, in the name of Jesus.
22. Father, release your Host of heaven to protect and defend my destiny in the name of Jesus.
23. Every wicked man or woman that sees my fulfillment as treason, Lord judge him/her as you judged Athaliah in the name of Jesus.
24. My father, my father, eliminate every power and the powerful ones that are limiting my spiritual life in the name of Jesus.
