Help, in its essence, empowers and enables us to accomplish tasks and fulfill needs, and when it originates from God, it holds unique and exceptional qualities. Divine help is appointed and approved by God, making it dependable and original in every way. The marvel of divine help is that it is not limited to a specific time, gender, race, or nation; it knows no barriers and can manifest in various forms, at any hour of need.

Five important factors exemplify the significance of divine help according to God's mercy:

1.        Divine help is appointed and approved by God. Whatever assistance comes from God is divinely orchestrated and sanctioned. His help carries His divine seal of approval, assuring us of its reliability and authenticity.

2.        Divine help is original and dependable. God's assistance is unadulterated and genuine, unlike the assistance we may receive from humans, which can sometimes be unreliable or conditional.

3.        Divine help is appreciable. In Ephesians 2:4, it is described as God's rich mercy, showcasing His deep compassion and love for us.

4.        Divine help sustains and extends to future generations. Luke 1:50 illustrates how God's mercy continues to benefit not only us but also our descendants.

5.        Divine help is supernatural and extends to others. Romans 11:31-32 reminds us that through the mercy we receive from God, others can obtain mercy as well, demonstrating its supernatural and far-reaching impact.

Five reasons underscore the importance of seeking divine help according to God's mercy:

1.        Divine help is unlimited. It transcends boundaries, time, and circumstance, available to anyone in need, regardless of their background or situation.

2.        Divine help is unconditional. Unlike human assistance, God's help does not come with burdensome conditions. It is a free gift available to all who seek it.

3.        Divine help is everlasting. The mercy of God endures forever, providing enduring support and aid.

4.        Divine help knows no barriers. No force or voice can hinder the help of God; it is all-powerful and unstoppable.

5.        Divine help defeats impossibility. With God's help, what seems impossible becomes possible. His mercy opens doors and breaks down barriers, allowing us to achieve what was once thought unattainable.

To position ourselves for divine help according to God's mercy, we must take specific steps:

1.           Repent and seek mercy. Sincerely repent of our sins and ask for God's mercy, recognizing our need for His help.

2.           Remove hindrances. Just as Bartimaeus cast away his garment before coming to Jesus in Mark 10:50, we must let go of anything hindering our access to divine help.

3.           Cry out in prayer. Like the persistent blind man in Mark 10:47-48, we must persistently cry out to God until we receive His fullness of help and grace.

4.           Show mercy to others. As we extend mercy and compassion to others, we open ourselves up to receiving even more of God's mercy in return (Matthew 5:7).

5.           Maintain reverence for God. Keep a heart of reverence and awe towards God, acknowledging His sovereignty and goodness (Luke 1:50).

 

In conclusion, let us approach the throne of grace boldly, assured of God's boundless mercy and unending help in times of need (Hebrews 4:16). Divine help according to God's mercy is a wellspring of unlimited grace and favor that empowers us on the journey of divine enlargement.
