A Prayer When You’ve Forgotten
Bible Verse: “For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through Him.” – John 3:17
Exhortation (What, Why, How):
- What: John 3:17 reminds us that God’s mission
through Christ is not condemnation but salvation. When we forget this
truth, we may live under unnecessary guilt, fear, or feelings of
unworthiness.
- Why: Remembering this verse gives us
assurance of God’s love and grace. It frees us from shame and helps us
walk boldly in our identity as children of God.
- How: By daily meditating on God’s Word,
praying for a renewed mind, and resting in Christ’s finished work on the
cross, we can hold fast to this truth and live in freedom.
God’s Expectation:
God expects us to live with confidence in His love, not under condemnation. He
desires that we embrace His salvation and extend the same grace to others.
Prayer Points:
- Lord, help me to always remember that
You came to save me, not condemn me.
- Father, break every hold of guilt and
shame over my life.
- Lord Jesus, let Your love fill my heart
daily and cast out fear.
- Holy Spirit, remind me of my true
identity in Christ.
- I reject every lie of the enemy that
brings condemnation.
- Lord, let me walk in the joy and freedom
of salvation.
- Father, help me to extend Your grace and
forgiveness to others.
- Lord Jesus, let Your finished work on
the cross always be my confidence.
- Thank You, Lord, for saving me and
calling me Yours.
