Bible Reading: Acts 2;1-4

“1 And when the day of Pentecost has fully come, they were all with one accord in one place.

2 And suddenly there came a sound from heaven as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled all the house where they were sitting.

3 And there appeared unto them cloven tongues like as of fire, and it sat upon each of them.

4 And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance.”

Everyone desire to be great in our career be in academic, marriage, finances, teaching, as well as ministry, but not everyone ready to possesses the fire for greatness. The most needful thing for every child of God is possessing the fire for greatness.

The power of the Holy Ghost is the Jesus promised to the disciples before His ascension, and the Holy Spirit was given by the Father as the disciples waited in Jerusalem for days.

“And there appeared unto them cloven tongues like as of fire, and it sat upon each of them.” Acts 2:3

On the day of Pentecost, the disciples were together in one accord, expecting the promise of Jesus Christ in the Upper room, suddenly the cloven tongues like as of fire sat upon each of them, then they all filled with the Holy Ghost. The fire first came upon each of them, that’s each person in the Upper room received the fire. The fire upon each of them was used as a symbol of God’s presence.

Fire is one of the emblems of the Holy Spirit. When you possess the fire, it signifies that you possess the presence of the Lord.

“And the Angel of the Lord appeared unto him in a flame of fire out of the midst of the bush: and he looked, and behold, the bush burned with fire, and the bush was not consumed.” Exodus 3:2.

When you possess the fire, it signifies that you are approved of God.

“And there came a fire out from before the Lord, and consumed upon the altar the burnt offering and the fat; and when the people saw, they shouted, and fell on their faces.” Leviticus 9:24.

When you possess the fire, it signifies that you are under the guidance and protection of the Lord

“And the Lord went before them by day in a pillar of a cloud, to lead them in the way; and by night in a pillar of fire, to give them light; to go by day and night.” Exodus 13:21.

When you possess the fire, it signifies that you are purifying. Isaiah 6:1-8. Prophet Isaiah was purified by the fire of God.

If you want to be effective in your career, you need to possess the fire of the Holy Ghost. The Holy Spirit has already been given, but each believer needs to receive this fire through the personal experience of the baptism of the Holy Spirit.

When you possess the fire of the Holy Ghost, you become untouchable for the devil and the kingdom of darkness.

When you possess the fire of the Holy Ghost, your total body becoming the temple of the Holy Ghost, and immorality and other related things will not have dominion.

The enduement of the power of the Holy Spirit also enables you to live a Christ-like life. You will find it difficult to involve in ungodliness manners. Because after you possess the fire of the Holy Ghost, your life will accomplish the spiritual fruit of the Holy Spirit and develops in your life. Galatians 5:22-23.

The easiest way to conquer sin and its desire is by possessing the fire of the Holy Ghost. And it enables you to demonstrate God’s unquestionable power.

“And my speech and my preaching were not with enticing words of man's wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power; That your faith should not stand in the wisdom of men but in the power of God.” 1 Corinthians 2:4-5

Possess the fire of the Holy Spirit is important because it enables you to become a powerful witness of the Gospel message without compromise or diluting the word of God.

Finally, “And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues; They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick and they shall recover.” Mark 16:17-18.

Possess the Fire for Greatness Prayer Bombs

1.       Father, I come to you today for the sanctification of the Holy Ghost, in the name of Jesus.

2.       My Father and my Lord, teach me to be crucified with You, in the name of Jesus.

7.       I possess the fire of the Holy Ghost, in the name of Jesus.

8.       Father, baptize me with the fire of the Holy Ghost, in the name of Jesus.

9.       Father, release the fire of the Holy Ghost upon me now, in the name of Jesus.

10.   Father, incubate my life with the Fire that flees from sin, in the name of Jesus.

11.   Holy Ghost fire, quicken and remodel me, in the name of Jesus.

12.   Father, incubate my life with the Fire of the Holy Ghost that flees from unrighteousness, in the name of Jesus.

13.   Father release the fire of the Holy Ghost upon me, and consume all the seed of sin in my body, in the name of Jesus.

14.   My Father and my Lord, let the secrets of hidden and open enemies be revealed by the fire, in the name of Jesus.

15.   By fire by thunder, I command every satanic net to receive destruction, in the name of Jesus.

16.   Father, release the fire of holy living upon me today, in the name of Jesus.

17.   By the fire of the Holy Ghost, every arrow of sickness in my body, cast out and back to the sender, in the name of Jesus.

18.   My whole being, receive the fire of the Holy Ghost now, in the name of Jesus.

19.   Holy Ghost, pour the father’s jealousy upon me now, in the name of Jesus.

20.   By the fire of the Holy Ghost, I reject all rights to anger in my life, in the name of Jesus.

21.   Holy Ghost fire, remove from every root of irritation that keeps anger alive in me, in the name of Jesus.

22.   Every activity of the satanic kingdom in my family is consumed by the thunder of God, in the name of Jesus.

23.   Father, let my eyes receive the fire of the Holy Ghost, in the name of Jesus.

24.   Every yoke of failure in my marriage, be destroyed by the fire of the Holy Ghost, in the name of Jesus.

25.   Father, revive my spiritual life with the fire of the Holy Ghost, in the name of Jesus.

26.   Every satanic canopy covering my spiritual eyes, I remove it by the fire of God, in the name of Jesus.

27.   Fire for greatness in my career, I possess it, in the name of Jesus.

28.   Father, touch my tongue with the fire of the Holy Ghost, in the name of Jesus.

29.   Father, wash my mouth with the fire, in the name of Jesus.

30.   Father, let the word of my mouth become fire, in the name of Jesus.
