Concerning the work of my hands command me

Bible Reading: ISAIAH 45:11

“Thus saith the LORD, the Holy One of Israel, and his Maker, Ask me of things to come concerning my sons and concerning the work of my hands' command ye me” Isaiah 45:11.

Isaiah 45:11 is an amazing Bible verse with outstanding meaning. We are missing several things and privileges given to us by God, one of such is the focus of Isaiah 45:11. In a reality, several believers are ignorant of the true word of God. They are unaware of many truths that God has made available for us to fulfill our destiny and accomplish our purpose.

What does it mean to command God?

Andrew Wommack said: “The answer lies in understanding that His kingdom is established on laws. Some laws govern God’s actions, and these laws are at our command. When someone wants to turn the lights on in their home, they don’t call the electric company and beg them to send a worker out to do it. The electric company generates the power and delivers it to the house, but it’s the individual’s responsibility to turn on the lights. In a sense, they must “command” the electricity to come on by flipping the switch on the wall. Does this mean they produced the power by their might? No. The power doesn’t come from them, but it is at their disposal.

Likewise, God has already met our every need through the atonement of Christ. Our salvation, healing, deliverance, and prosperity were already generated long before we ever needed them. His power has already been placed within the born-again spirit of every believer. But we must flip the switch! We do that by putting the laws of faith into action. Crying out to God in desperation is like the homeowner calling the electric company and pleading with them to turn on the lights. No amount of begging will get them to do what we’re supposed to do.

“For the LORD, the Holy One of Israel, and its Maker says this, “Ask Me about the things to come concerning My sons And give Me orders concerning the work of My hands. I made the earth and created man upon it. My hands stretched out the heavens, And I commanded all their host.” Isaiah 45:11-12 AMP.

However, these words are not spoken to idolaters, or the idolatrous believers, army robbers, adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies, envying, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such of them that were inclined to idolatry, sexual immorality as well as corruption, kidnappings, smokers, other related sins that the Bible has forbidden [Galatians 5:19-21, 1 Corinthians 6:9-10.

“But your iniquities have separated between you and your God, and your sins have hidden his face from you, that he will not hear.” Isaiah 59:2

Beloved, Isaiah 45:11 can only work for you after you have repented all your sins, forsake them and return back to Jesus in holiness and righteousness. You cannot command the hand works of God when you are a friendship with evildoers. You are not qualifying to command God base on the verse if you are among the enemies of God. If you command God’s work in an evil heart that full of sins, instead of for God to answer you positively, it will be a negative result, and this can lead to destruction without mercy.

“But if we walk in the light as He is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus Christ His Son cleanses us from all sin. If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.” 1 John 1:7-9

Psalmist cry unto God for mercy; “Have mercy upon me, O God, according to Your lovingkindness; according to the multitude of Your tender mercies, blot out my transgressions. Wash me thoroughly from my iniquity, and cleanse me from my sin.” Psalms 51:1-2

Are you ready to command God according to Isaiah 45;11, then you must bow down your head now, confess all your sin unto Jesus Christ.
