“Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and he shall lift you up.” James 4:10

“Thou shalt also decree a thing, and it shall be established unto thee: and the light shall shine upon thy ways. When men are cast down, then thou shalt say, There is lifting up; and he shall save the humble person. Job 22:28-29

“1 All the commandments which I command thee this day shall ye observe to do, that ye may live, and multiply, and go in and possess the land which the LORD sware unto your fathers.

2 And thou shalt remember all the way which the LORD thy God led thee these forty years in the wilderness, to humble thee, and to prove thee, to know what was in thine heart, whether thou wouldest keep his commandments, or no.

3 And he humbled thee, and suffered thee to hunger, and fed thee with manna, which thou knewest not, neither did thy fathers know; that he might make thee know that man doth not live by bread only, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of the LORD doth man live.” Deuteronomy 8:1-3

Humility is one of the essential attributes for everyone that experiences divine upliftment. Humility is the opposite of bride, where there is no humility surely pride must exist there. Nothing can be compared with humbleness. And anyone that walks and works with God in humility will surely be enjoying the goodness of God in all ratification.

“Humility and fear of God bring wealth, and honor and life.” Proverbs 22:4

Humility turns away God’s wrath. If you don’t want God to be angry with you or punish you for what you have done wrong, humble yourself. 1 Kings 21:29

Humility is a pathway to answer prayers. 2 Kings 22:19. If you desire positive answers to your prayers, clothe yourself with humility.

Despite the wickedness of King Rehoboam, when he humbles himself before God, the wrath of God was turned away from him.

“And when he humbled himself, the wrath of the LORD turned from him that he would not destroy him altogether: and also in Judah things went well.” 2 Chronicles 12:12

Humility stopped the proposed destruction against the princes of Judah.

“Then came Shemaiah the prophet to Rehoboam, and to the princes of Judah, that were gathered together to Jerusalem because of Shishak, and said unto them, Thus saith the LORD, Ye have forsaken me, and therefore have I also left you in the hand of Shishak.

Whereupon the princes of Israel and the king humbled themselves; and they said, The LORD is righteous.

And when the LORD saw that they humbled themselves, the word of the LORD came to Shemaiah, saying, They have humbled themselves; therefore I will not destroy them, but I will grant them some deliverance, and my wrath shall not be poured out upon Jerusalem by the hand of Shishak.” 2 Chronicles 12:5-7

If you don’t want to experience the wrath of God that’s coming against the entire universe, you must live a humble life before God. 2 Chronicles 32:26.

Remember how God heal the affliction of King Manasseh, brought him back to Jerusalem after he [King Manasseh] humble himself before God. 2 Chronicles 33:11-13

• God called us to humbleness so that He can listening to us, answer our prayers, and heal our land. 2Chronicles 7;14

“When he maketh inquisition for blood, he remembered them: he forgets not the cry of the humble.” Psalms 9:12

• God is always granted the desire of the humble – Psalm 10;17

“A man's pride shall bring him low: but honour shall uphold the humble in spirit.” Proverbs 29;23

• The humble man is the greatest person in the Kingdom of heaven – Matthew 18;4
• Only those that humble themselves shall be lifted up – Matthew 23:12. You are a candidate of upliftment as long as you live a humble life.
• The only way you will not miss your time of upliftment is to be humble – 1 Peter 5:6
• Decorate yourself with humility – Colossians 3;12

Finally, “Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in due time: Casting all your care upon him; for He careth for you.” 1 Peter 5;6-7

Prayer Bombs for Humility

1. Father, I thank you for another opportunity to hear your words.
2. Father, I ask for your forgiveness, kindly wash me clean with the blood of Jesus Christ.
3. Holy Spirit, please help me never to go back to my evil ways, in the name of Jesus.
4. Father, baptize me with the spirit of humility, in the name of Jesus.
5. Every seed of pride that antagonizes against the spirit of humility in my life, be uprooted by the fire of God, in the name of Jesus.
6. Father, created in me the humble heart that will walk in your ways, in the name of Jesus.
7. Every covenant of darkness in my foundation be permanently broken now in the name of Jesus.
8. Any power standing in the gap to renew the spirit of pride in my life, fall down, and die in the name of Jesus.
9. In this year 2021, the heavens shall declare the glory of God over my life in the name of Jesus.
10. Father, let the womb of 2021 open and release my divine upliftment and benefits now in the name of Jesus.
11. Father, let the spirit of humility dominate my heart in the name of Jesus.
12. O God of Joseph Ayo Babalola, overshadow my life with your glory, signs, and wonders this 2021 in the name of Jesus.
13. Father, let my divine helpers for 2021 be released to locate me now in the name of Jesus.
14. All my assigned helpers for 2021, both human and angelic, hear the word of the Lord: arise and locate me now in the name of Jesus.
15. Any power that will not allow me to enjoy the goodness of God this year, die in the name of Jesus.
16. Every force of wickedness around my ministry, be scattered by the fire of God, in the name of Jesus.
17. In this year 2021, I appoint all my spiritual enemies to the total destruction, in the name of Jesus.
18. I cover my life, family, and ministry with the blood of Jesus for protection in 2021 in the name of Jesus.
19. Every door of my greatness in 2021, be open in the name of Jesus.
20. I break every chain of backwardness attached to my life, in the name of Jesus.
21. Anyone who stands as an enemy against my upliftment this year, shall be swallow by the sword in the name of Jesus.
22. The year 2021, hear the word of the Lord, the sun, moon, and stars shall cooperate with my divine destiny in the name of Jesus.
