• Prayer to get ready for the second coming of the Lord Jesus Christ

BIBLE READING: REVELATION 21:1-4

“1 And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea.

2 And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband.

3 And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, and be their God.

4 And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.” Revelation 21:1-4

The second coming of our Lord Jesus Christ cannot be overemphasized as predicted by the scripture, many of the Endtime prophecies are coming to fulfillment, therefore Christ coming is at hand. How prepare are you?

WHY PREPARING FOR HIS SECOND COMING?

There are many reasons why you should prepare for the second coming of our Lord Jesus Christ which includes:

1. It is a command – Matthew 24:44
2. It will be sudden - Matthew 24:36, 1 Thessalonians 5:2, Nobody no the very day that it will happen
3. Almost all the prophecies about His second coming have been fulfilled.
4. The present happening around the world is a serious sign of His coming is at hand.
5. Easy to get what you are preparing for - Matthew 16:27.
6. Only those that ready will die in Him - 1 Thessalonians 4:16-17
7. Eternal doom is for those that left behind on the very day of His coming.

HOW TO GET PREPARE?

1. Surrender your life to Jesus Christ. It is not negotiable. John 3:16
2. Flee away from evil company – 1 Cor. 15:33
3. Lives complete holy and righteous life – Leviticus 11;44-45
4. Always look for Him. Hebrews 9:28. Don’t comprise your faith.
5. War against the work of the flesh.
6. Study your Bible daily and be obedient – Joshua 1;8
7. Thirst for the Holy Spirit ALL the times.
8. Power yourself in prayer daily – 1 Thessalonians 5:17-18, 1 Peter 4:7

PRAYER BOMBS TO GET READY FOR SECOND COMING OF JESUS CHRIST

1. Father, I come unto you today for cleansing, wash me with the precious blood of Jesus Christ.
2. Father, have mercy unto me and forgive all my sin, in the name of Jesus.
3. Father, let your fire fall upon me and destroy every seed of sin in my life, in the name of Jesus.
4. I break the yoke of sin that hinders me to do the will of God, in the name of Jesus.
5. Father, create in me a new heart that will follow you, in the name of Jesus.
6. Father, create in me a new heart that will obey your words in the name of Jesus.
7. Father, purge me with the blood of Jesus.
8. Father, guide me with the power of the Holy Spirit, in the name of Jesus.
9. Anything actions that contradict your will, Father don’t allow me to take t, in the name of Jesus.
10. Father, give me the heart that will thirst for your words and your Kingdom, in the name of Jesus.
11. By fire by force, I’m separated from the bad association, in the name of Jesus.
12. Father, let the door of everlasting Kingdom in heaven open for me, in the name of Jesus.
13. Every power holding me captive, be destroyed by the fire of God, in the name of Jesus.
14. I break every chain of sinful desire in my life, in the name of Jesus.
15. I destroy every force of wickedness fighting against my spiritual life, in the name of Jesus.
16. Father, revive my soul and heart to thirst for you more this year, in the name of Jesus.
17. Father, destroy every grip and power of worldliness that working in my life, in the name of Jesus.
18. Father, create in me a new heart and renew the right spirit within me, in the name of Jesus.
19. Father, rekindle the fire of Holy Spirit within me, in the name of Jesus.
20. Father, cause me to reign with you in your Kingdom, in the name of Jesus.
