Be A Friend Of God

Bible Reading: James 2:23

“And the Scripture was fulfilled which saith, Abraham believed God, and it was imputed unto him for righteousness: and he was called the Friend of God.” James 2:23.

The first and only person without reservation that the Scriptures credited as the friend of God is Abraham. He was called the friend of God because he knew God intimately. He lives a friendly life with God, hearing from God and having a personal relationship with God that nobody or nothing can break.

 Every believer is expected to have a friendship with God in fullness. This can be accomplished through obedience to the commandments of God (John 15:14). Jesus Christ declared that “Henceforth I call you not servants; for the servant know not what his lord doeth: but I have called you friends; for all things that I have heard of my Father I have made known unto you.” John 15:15

 It will require an intimate personal relationship with God for you to fulfil the vision that God has for you. You must learn His ways, be able to hear His voice and fully obey Him. Your relationship with God should not be a periodical but intimately. Becoming the friend of God that is the expectation of God from you. Remember, if you are not the friend of God surely you are His enemy. Be an enemy of God is a disaster and destruction! Be careful!

PRAYER BOMBS

1. Father, give the heart that will be relating with you as a child, in the name of Jesus.
2. I break every chain that hinders me to do the will of God, in the name of Jesus.
3. Every activity of satanic influence fighting against my intimacy with God, I render it useless by the fire of God, in the name of JESUS.
4. Every self-desire hindering me to follow God in holiness be uprooted, in the name of Jesus.
5. Father, guide my way with the Holy Spirit, in the name of Jesus.
6. Every seed of worldliness in my life, be uprooted by the blood of Jesus, in the name of Jesus.
7. Father, direct my ways so that I can live a life of friendship with you, in the name of Jesus.
8. I possess the power of the Holy Spirit, in the name of Jesus.
9. Every contradictory act against the will of God, be consumed by fire, in the name of Jesus.
10. Anything unrighteousness shall not be my portion, in the name of Jesus.
11. I possess the faith that will be made me become a friend of God, in the name of Jesus.
12. Every symbol of evil attached to my life, be removed by the blood of Jesus.
13. By the grace of God, I possess the Spirit of obedience in the name of Jesus.
14. Father, I surrender my heart unto you O LORD, guide my heart according to your will, in the name of Jesus.
15. Father, don’t allow me to let you down in my ways, in the name of Jesus.
16. My father, and my Lord, eliminate every power and the powerful ones that are limiting my walking with you, in the name of Jesus.
17. Every seed of righteousness that the enemies of righteousness have killed in my life, by the power of resurrection, come back to life in Jesus name.
18. By divine order and power of God, I shall live a righteous life, in the name of Jesus.
19. The voice that called Lazarus from the grave, call my glory out for me in Jesus name.
20. Every power that is delaying my glory from manifesting, I command the consuming fire of God to destroy it in Jesus name.
21. Every power that is manipulating my glory, die by fire in Jesus name
