34 Reasons Why You Should Not Go To Hell

Bible Reading: Luke 16:19-31

19 There was a certain rich man, which was clothed in purple and fine linen, and fared sumptuously every day:

20 And there was a certain beggar named Lazarus, which was laid at his gate, full of sores,

21 And desiring to be fed with the crumbs which fell from the rich man's table: moreover, the dogs came and licked his sores.

22 And it came to pass, that the beggar died, and was carried by the angels into Abraham's bosom: the rich man also died, and was buried;

23 And in hell he lift up his eyes, being in torments, and seeth Abraham afar off, and Lazarus in his bosom.

24 And he cried and said, Father Abraham, have mercy on me, and send Lazarus, that he may dip the tip of his finger in water, and cool my tongue; for I am tormented in this flame.

25 But Abraham said, Son, remember that thou in thy lifetime received thy good things, and likewise Lazarus evil things: but now he is comforted, and thou art tormented.

26 And beside all this, between us and you there is a great gulf fixed: so that they which would pass from hence to you cannot; neither can they pass to us, that would come from thence.

27 Then he said, I pray thee therefore, father, that thou wouldest send him to my father's house:

28 For I have five brethren; that he may testify unto them, lest they also come into this place of torment.

29 Abraham saith unto him, They have Moses and the prophets; let them hear them.

30 And he said, Nay, father Abraham: but if one went unto them from the dead, they will repent.

31 And he said unto him, If they hear not Moses and the prophets, neither will they be persuaded, though one rose from the dead.” Luke 16:19-31

Hell is probably the most hated truth in the Bible, and most hated in this present generation. Many gospel preachers are afraid to preach on Hell as well as several pastors find it difficult to tell people about hell. However, our Lord Jesus Christ was the greatest Hellfire preacher ever. He preached about hell more than other things during His earthly ministry. Throughout the Scriptures, Jesus preached more about Hell than He did Heaven. Hell is not a place meant for people to lives. No matter human beings are against the Bible, hell is the place where those who reject Jesus Christ will undergo the fierce wrath and justice of God forever.

The following are the reasons why you should not go to hell:

1.       Hell is not prepared for you.

2.       Hell is for Satan and his followers. Jesus Christ says in Matthew 25:41, "Depart from me, ye cursed, into EVERLASTING FIRE, prepared for the devil and his angels."

3.       You have been warned enough. On many occasions you have read about hell, heard it on Radio and Television, now you are reading it.

4.       Hell is an everlasting house for the wicked. In Matthew 13:42, Jesus says: "And shall cast them into a furnace of fire: there shall be wailing and gnashing of teeth." HELL IS FOREVER! All who enter hell — abandon all hope! Hell is a lake of fire prepared for the wicked. The lake of fire appears in both ancient Egyptian and Christian religion as a place of after-death punishment of the wicked.

5.       Jesus Christ had paid the price for you not to be in hell. “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but so that the world might be saved through him. Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only Son of God.” John 3:16-18

6.       Hell is eternal. “And the devil who deceived them was thrown into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet are also; and they will be tormented day and night forever and ever.” Revelation 20:10.

7.       No answers to prayer in hell. The rich man and Lazarus and Abraham. Luke 16:19-31

8.       There is no hope in hell.

9.       No way for repentance in hell

10.   No salvation or safety in hell

11.   No protection in hell

12.   No freedom is hell.

13.   Hell is the wrath of the Almighty God. “A third angel followed them and said in a loud voice: “If anyone worships the beast and its image and receives its mark on their forehead or on their hand, they, too, will drink the wine of God’s fury, which has been poured full strength into the cup of his wrath. They will be tormented with burning sulfur in the presence of the holy angels and of the Lamb.” Revelation 14:9-10

14.   No sleeping in hell. “And the smoke of their torment will rise forever and ever. There will be no rest day or night for those who worship the beast and its image, or for anyone who receives the mark of its name.” Revelation 14:11

15.   Hell is a place for those that do accept the gospel. “He will punish those who do not know God and do not obey the gospel of our Lord Jesus. They will be punished with everlasting destruction and shut out from the presence of the Lord and from the glory of his might.” 2 Thessalonians 1:8-9

16.   Hell has no departures. Leonard Ravenhill said, “Hell has no exits.”

17.   No pleasure or merriment in hell. No room for drinking and eating. Luke 16:24

18.   It is a place of thirst and there is no water to quench your thirst.

19.   You should not go to hell because it had been explaining to you.

20.   It is a place of no return.

21.   Hell has nothing good to offer you than tormenting.

22.   Hell is the highest reward that Satan can offer his followers.

23.   Hell is a place of loss.

24.   Hell is a place prepared for the devil and his angels. “Then He will also say to those on His left, ‘Depart from Me, you accursed people, into the eternal fire which has been prepared for the devil and his angels’” (Matthew 25:41).

“God did not spare angels when they sinned, but cast them into hell and committed them to pits of darkness, held for judgment” (2 Peter 2:4).

Likewise, when humans joined the devil in rebellion against God, they were condemned to share the punishment prepared for the fallen angels. So also, to anyone that does not accept Jesus Christ as Lord and Saviour. John 3:16-18

25.   Hell is a horrifying place of unquenchable fire. Mark 9:44.

26.   It is a place of judgment - Matthew 23:33. where God put the fallen angels in chains of darkness (2 Peter 2:4).

27.   Hell is a place of torment - Luke 16:23.

28.   Spending your eternity in hell is not profit you.

29.   Hell is black or darkness or outer darkness - Jude 1:13

30.   It is a place where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth - Matthew 8:12, 22:13, 25:30.

31.   Hell is a place where the worm does not die and the fire is not quenched - Mark 9:48

32.   Hell is a place of no rest. In Revelation 14:9-11, hell is describing as a gruesome place of torment, fire, brimstone, and no rest: “If anyone worships the beast and his image, and receives a mark on his forehead or on his hand, he also will drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is mixed in full strength in the cup of His anger; and he will be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels and in the presence of the Lamb. And the smoke of their torment goes up forever and ever; they have no rest day and night, those who worship the beast and his image, and whoever receives the mark of his name.”

33.   You should not go to hell because you have the opportunity to repent now.

34.   You have been warned to flee away from anything that can make you to go to hell.

Finally, the issue of eternity is an issue of choice. Both heaven and hell are real and are everlasting. Jesus’ messages dismiss the false doctrine of annihilation [total destruction] – the belief that there is no eternal, conscious suffering in hell because lost souls will simply stop existing or pass into a dreamless sleep. It is a heresy full of lies to believe in such doctrine that there is no suffering in hell. The Bible spells it out that: “They will be tormented day and night forever and ever.” (Revelation 20:10). As you among the people say things like, “God is love He wouldn’t throw anyone into hell.”? You are still doubting that hell does not exist or God cannot send anyone to hell? Stop doubting! Hell is real and is for anyone that does not accept Jesus Christ as Lord and Saviour, and for any sinners that refuse to repent. However, the Bible also says that God is holy, God hates, God is just, and God is a consuming fire. It is terrifying when the wrath of God is upon someone.

A writer said: “Those who end up in hell will cry as they’ve never cried before. They will experience excruciating pain. They will be aware of all the changes that they had and they will feel the weight of being eternally separated from God. The men and women that end up in hell will be brought back into the realization that there is no light at the end of this tunnel. YOU’RE IN HELL FOREVER! There will be gnashing of teeth because of their hatred for God. If you are not a Christian, I encourage you to consider this.”

Why you should not go to hell prayers bombs.

8. I’m not the candidate of hell, Lord separates me from evil friendship by your mighty hand, in the name of Jesus.
9. Every seed of evil-doing planted into my life is uprooted by thunder, in the name of Jesus.
10. Father, make it easy and possible for me to lives a completely holy and righteous life, in the name of Jesus.
11. Every force that is fueling sin into my life, be scattered by thunder, in the name of Jesus.
12. Father, causing me to follow your path all the time, in the name of Jesus.
13. I uproot every seed of bad character in my life with the blood of Jesus.
14. I break every agenda of sinful desire in my life, in the name of Jesus.
15. By the grace of God, I will live a completely holy life, in the name of Jesus.
16. Every anti-holiness in my life, be destroyed by the blood of Jesus.
