DEALING WITH KILLER OF SUCCESS

Bible Reading: 1 Kings 19:2-9

“2 Then Jezebel sent a messenger unto Elijah, saying, So let the gods do to me, and more also if I make not thy life as the life of one of them by tomorrow about this time.

3 And when he saw that, he arose, and went for his life, and came to Beer-sheba, which belongeth to Judah, and left his servant there.

4 But he himself went a day's journey into the wilderness, and came and sat down under a juniper tree: and he requested for himself that he might die; and said, It is enough; now, O LORD, take away my life; for I am not better than my fathers.

5 And as he lay and slept under a juniper tree, behold, then an angel touched him, and said unto him, Arise and eat.

6 And he looked, and, behold, there was a cake baken on the coals and a cruse of water at his head. And he did eat and drink and laid him down again.

7 And the angel of the LORD came again the second time, and touched him, and said, Arise and eat; because the journey is too great for thee.

8 And he arose, and did eat and drink, and went in the strength of that meat forty days and forty nights unto Horeb the mount of God.

9 And he came thither unto a cave, and lodged there; and, behold, the word of the LORD came to him, and he said unto him, What doest thou here, Elijah?” 1 Kings 19:2-9

There are many killers of success, but our focus in this prayer is fear. Fear is one of the killers of success and it has been a war against the success of Christians directly or indirectly. Prophet Elijah is one of the victims of fear at the point of success. Prophet Elijah is one of the foremost prophets in the Holy Scriptures. He does mighty work and never failed in every step he took. But when he allowed fear to dominate his heart, he becomes nothing in the hands of the killers.

What is Fear?

§  Fear is a manipulator.

§  Fear is a thief.

§  Fear is a Killer, and

§  Fear is a Destroyer

§  Fear is a satanic tool to rob the children of God.

WHAT ARE YOU DOING HERE? A VOICE TO FEAR CHRISTIAN

§  Fear can cause you to be in bondage ignorantly.

§  Fear can make you run away from your place of destiny.

§  Fear can make you run away from your helpers or your blessing.

§  Fear can make you become a person that people will be mocking.

§  Fear can stop you to take the right step at the right time.

§  Fear can stop you to possess your possession.

§  Fear can make you nothing and useless you forever.

THINGS HE FEAR – Things people fear:

§  Fear witches and witchcraft.

§  Fear the voice of men – 1 Samuel 17:8-11

§  Fear of death, or attacker from the enemies.

§  Fear the unknown.

§  Fear challenges.

§  Fear of failure.

§  Fear of human beings – Hebrews 13:6

RESULT OF ELIJAH’s FEAR – JOB 3:25

Elijah runs to the desert. Many Christians are in a spiritual desert because of fear. They run away from the presence of God that can deliver them from the problem.

Lives in cave/bondage – Genesis 19:30. Many Christians are in bondage of sickness, affliction, failure, debt, sadness, etc. because of fear. No one can fulfill his or her purpose of existence as long as they embrace fear.

He lost his strength. Numerous people cannot overcome their enemies because of fear. It is not that their enemies are powerful but fear makes their victim lost their strength.

Lost the followers. Elijah deserted his followers. Many people have lost their customers, helpers, workers, and those that can be their backup because of fear unknown.

Elijah lost his focus. Loss of focus, goals, and vision can easily happen when you allow fear to dominate your heart. Peter lost focus and began to sink when he fears the wind that blows.

“…And when Peter was come down out of the ship, he walked on the water, to go to Jesus. But when he saw the wind boisterous, he was afraid; and beginning to sink, he cried, saying, Lord, save me.” Matthew 14:29-30

What next?

Beloved, kindly check yourself very well. The position you find yourself in today is it not fear that led you there? Those businesses you lost, what are the causes? Fear can bury destiny. It can hinder you to fulfil your purpose and goal. It can steal, kill, and destroy them easily. Fear is a satanic tool that can cage, steal, destroy things that belong to the people of God. That’s why you should allow faith to rule and reign in your heart. Don’t allow fear to wail your faith. Don’t allow fear to derail you from your goal or vision. Don’t allow fear to make you anything.

“Fear not, little flock; for it is your Father's good pleasure to give you the kingdom.” Luke 12:32.

Prayer Bombs against Fear – the killer of success:

1.      Father, deliver me from the fear of the unknown in the name of Jesus.

2.      Every evil seed of fear in my heart, be uprooted by the blood of Jesus.

3.      Father, in the mighty name of your Son Jesus Christ, I possess the faith that overcomes the fear of death.

4.      I break the yoke of fear that sink me down, in the name of Jesus.

5.      Any wind blow against my success, be still in the name of Jesus.

6.      Any demonic voice against my success, be silent by the blood of Jesus, in the name of Jesus.

7.      I break the powers that working against my success, in the name of Jesus.

8.      By the mighty power of God, my success comes out from a hidden place, in the name of Jesus.

9.      Father, deliver me from the cage where fear of enemies has kept me, in the name of Jesus.

10.  Every lion roar against my success, die by fire, in the name of Jesus.

11.  Father, deliver my glory from the cage of fear, in the name of Jesus.

12.  My wealth that cage in demonic camp, get out by fire, in the name of Jesus.

13.  Every demonic breaker of success in my environment, scatter by thunder, in the name of Jesus.

14.  Father, deliver me from the cave where the fear of enemies has kept me, in the name of Jesus.

15.  Father, deliver me from the powers that tied me with failure, in the name of Jesus.

16.  Every conspiracy of fear against my life, scattered by fire, in the name of Jesus.

17.  Every satanic protocol that causes fear in my life, scattered by fire, in the name of Jesus.

18.  Father give me uncommon grace to rule over satanic fear, in the name of Jesus.

19.  Father, wash my heart clean from unknown fear, in the name of Jesus.

20.  Every chain of fear that caged my marriage with death, scatter by fire, in the name of Jesus.

21.  Father, give me a courageous spirit like Daniel, in the name of Jesus.
