33 Bible Verses To Overcome Lusts and Masturbation

Bible Reading: 2 Samuel 11:2-4

“One evening David got up from his bed and walked around on the roof of the palace. From the roof, he saw a woman bathing. The woman was very beautiful, and David sent someone to find out about her. The man said, “She is Bathsheba, the daughter of Eliam and the wife of Uriah the Hittite.” Then David sent messengers to get her. She came to him, and he slept with her. (Now she was purifying herself from her monthly uncleanness.) Then she went back home.” 2 Samuel 11:2-4

What is Lust?

Lust is a feeling of a strong desire to do something or involve in a deed that leads to sin. It is a spirit that causes the desire to be having sex with anyone you see through images, watching films or videos, or face to face, etc.

Damages that lust has caused to people

Pornography is a source of evil, and it leads to terrible egregious sin. Practicing pornography has led many people to become harlotry, while some are daily customers to prostitutes. Besides, porn is one of the reasons why stealing, rape, kidnapping, murder, sexual immorality like the opposite sex, same-sex, fornication, and adultery are arising within the youths.

Many Christian today are struggling with pornography and masturbation, while uncountable are under the control and influence of fornication or adultery. If you are among such people, this is the right time to examine yourself and fully ready to be free and heal from this terrible attack.
