Bible Reading: Jeremiah 31:31-33

"Behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel, and with the house of Judah: Not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the days that I took them by the hand to bring them out of the land of Egypt; which my covenant they brake, although I was a husband unto them, saith the LORD: But this shall be the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel; After those days, saith the LORD, I will put my law in their inward parts, and write it in their hearts; and will be their God, and they shall be my people." Jeremiah 31:31-33

Once again, we thank God for the grace given to us to witness another glorious day. The topic for today’s prayer bombs is the covenant of a new beginning. From the beginning of the world, God has been making a covenant with men and women He created in His image and His likeness. The first covenant of a new beginning that God makes with man is the covenant with Adam before fall – Genesis 2:15-17. He makes a covenant with Adam after the fall, with Noah after the flood, with Abraham after they left Ur, with Israel at Sinai, with David, etc. There are elements, requirements, promises and penalty attached with these covenants. Genesis 2:16-17, 3:22, Exodus 24:7, 2 Samuel 7:9-16, etc.

In Jeremiah 31:33-34, Ezekiel 16;60-62, and Hosea 2:18-20, God promises to make a new covenant with His people with the following elements:

§  It is an everlasting covenant

§  Several promises

§  Fulfill in Christ Jesus – Luke 22:20, 1 Cor.11:25, 2 Cor.3:6, Hebrews 8:6-13, 10:11-18, 12:22-24

Covenant is an agreement or contract that God has initiated with humanity. As we are in the new year of a new beginning, God makes a covenant and agreement with us that this year will be a new beginning for us. A covenant of God is a promise that cannot be broken, because God is faithful and remembers His covenants. Deuteronomy 7:9, Daniel 9:4, Exodus 2:24, Luke 1:72. As long as we remain faithful, loyalty and commitment to Him, His covenant remain unchanged.

Genesis 9:9 “And I, behold, I establish my covenant with you, and with your seed after you;”

Exodus 19:5 “Now, therefore, if ye will obey my voice indeed, and keep my covenant, then ye shall be a peculiar treasure unto me above all people: for all the earth is mine:”

2 Kings 17:38 “And the covenant that I have made with you ye shall not forget; neither shall ye fear other gods.”

Psalms 25:10 “All the paths of the LORD are mercy and truth unto such as keep his covenant and his testimonies.”

Psalms 25:14 “The secret of the LORD is with them that fear him, and he will shew them his covenant.”

Psalms 89:28 “My mercy will I keep for him forevermore, and my covenant shall stand fast with him.”

Psalms 89:34 "My covenant will I not break, nor alter the thing that is gone out of my lips."

Beloved, God loves us and He remains faithful to His covenant forever. His covenant of a new beginning is the covenant established through the Blood of Jesus Christ – Luke 22:20, 1 Cor.11:25. Therefore, you must surrender your total life unto Him, obey Him and be faithful to His words.

7.           Father, by your covenant, let the doors of great opportunities be opened for me this year in the name of Jesus.

8.           Father decorate me with new uncommon success and happiness in the name of Jesus.

9.           Father, with the blood of the new covenant in Jesus Christ, I paralyzed every evil covenant that is waging war against my destiny in the name of Jesus.

10.      With the power in the Blood of Jesus, I break every chain of the demonic covenant that I have inherited from my parents in the name of Jesus.

11.      I receive all benefit embedded in the covenant of a new beginning in the name of Jesus.

12.      As from this hour, I’m walking in the new covenant of God in the name of Jesus.

13.      I break every evil covenant and initiation through dreams in the name of Jesus.

14.      I disband all the hosts of darkness set against me this year in the name of Jesus.

15.      Let all past satanic defeats in the dream be converted to victory in the name of Jesus.

16.      Let all attempts by the enemy to deceive me this year through dreams fail woefully, in the name of Jesus.

17.      Poverty activating arrows, backfire and go back to your sender now in the name of Jesus.

18.      Demonic laws energizing evil arrows against my life, be broken now in the name of Jesus.

19.      Let every evil unity against me this year be scattered by fire and thunder in the name of Jesus.

20.      All my delayed blessings, be released unto me in this new year in the name of Jesus.

21.      All my diverted blessings in previous years, be restored unto me seven-fold in the name of Jesus.
