PRAYER BOMBS AGAINST THE LUST OF THE EYES

Bible Reading: 1 John 2:15-17

“Do not love the world or anything in the world. If anyone loves the world, love for the Father is not in him. For everything in the world-the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life—comes not from the Father but from the world. The world and its desires pass away, but whoever does the will of God lives forever.” 1 John 2:15-17

Lust of the eyes is one of the traps that Satan uses to catch the people of God. Numerous youths have been in the satanic cage because of the lust of eyes, while several men and women glories have been destroying because of their desire for worldly things.

From the Garden of Eden, Satan used lust of the eyes to tempted Eve and Adam. Satan used a visual image to help entrap her. When Eve looked at the forbidden fruit, and the fruit was pleasing to her eye, she took it and ate it.

“And when the woman saw that the tree was good for food and that it was pleasant to the eyes, and a tree to be desired to make one wise, she took of the fruit thereof, and did eat, and gave also unto her husband with her; and he did eat.” Genesis 3:6

The way that Satan traps Eve through the lust of the eyes is the same way he deceives and traps people in this present world. The desire to possess properties like house, cars, money, position, and things you see by all means is a terrible trap that Satan set for you to be derail. Having a desire to coveting worldly things as yours without thinking of the consequences is a terrible action that can lead to soonest destruction. Many youths have been the victim of the Satanic kingdom because of the lust of eyes to the things around them. they involve in stealing, robbery, kidnapping, 419s, Scam, etc. just to accomplish their evil desire.

Moreover, God has commanded us not to control by the lust of the eyes when He said:

“You shall not covet your neighbor’s house; you shall not covet your neighbor’s wife, or his male servant, or his female servant, or his ox, or his donkey, or anything that is your neighbor’s.” Exodus 20:17

Beloved, are you not a victim of the above Bible passage? Remember, coveting can include a desire to have wealth, money, people, position, fashion, possessions, or status. The more you’re passionate about the pleasure the more you endangering yourself with the forces of darkness.

The only solution to the lust of the eyes is to surrender yourself unto Jesus Christ for cleansing and purging. Set your eyes unto the things above for spiritual understanding, and sanctify your eyes with the word of God through meditating of the Bible every day [Joshua 1:8].

“If ye then be risen with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ sitteth on the right hand of God. Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth.” Colossians 3:1-2

“This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success.” Joshua 1:8

PRAYER BOMBS AGAINST THE LUST OF THE EYES

1.      Father, sanctify my eyes with the blood of Jesus.

2.      I possess the power of the Holy Spirit, in the name of Jesus.

3.      Every trap of the devil set before me, I break it by fire, in the name of Jesus.

4.      Father, delivered me from the spirit of lust, in the name of Jesus.

5.      I break every yoke attached to me with the lust of the eyes, in the name of Jesus.

6.      Father set me free from the bondage of lust of the eyes, in the name of Jesus.

7.      Father, let my passion for the pleasure of worldly things ended in my life today, in the name of Jesus.

8.      Father, set me free any traps of the lust arranged for me, in the name of Jesus.

9.      By fire by force, I am set free from the lust of women, in the name of Jesus.

10.  By the power in the blood of Jesus, my passion for the lust of women and men is terminated today, in the name of Jesus.

11.  Every agreement I have with the lust of the eyes is hereby broken today, in the name of Jesus.

12.  My eyes, receive the fire of God, in the name of Jesus.

13.  Every connection I have with the lust of the eyes, be broken, in the name of Jesus.

14.  Father, delivered me from the deceit of satanic tragedies, in the name of Jesus.

15.  I cover my eyes with the blood of Jesus.
